CHIHULY
Born in 1941 in Tacoma Washington, Dale Chihuly lives and works in Seattle. He received a B.S. from the University of Washington, an M.S. from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and an M.F.A. from the Rhode Island School of Design. He is well known for his glass sculptures and architectural installations on public display such as the Bellagio, Las Vegas and the Morean Art Center in St. Petersburg, Florida. He has mounted major exhibitions at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, deYoung Museum, Royal Botanical Gardens at Kew, Tower of David Museum, Jerusalem, and the Louvre.
